The Successfull Stupefaction Of America: Through Music

I feel like (not all, but most) music lost substance. Its crazy how just in the 90's, a rapper was signed because they had talent. Now, I question how rappers like Lil B, Two Chainz, Soulja Boi & Chief Keef got signed?

In the next few paragraphs, I will be what a simple mind would call a "hater", but before that word existed, there was once upon a realist. Even if one or all of the rappers I have stated above are your favorite rappers or you just like his songs et cetera there are bad rappers out there...& those listed above are some of them. They use tough beats like beats that are so dramatic in orchestra; beautifully awesome beats and tarnish it with their [warning:expletive word] fuckery10% actual raw talent and 90% marketing and sales.

  • Two Chainz is too damn old to behave that way but the way the public responds to it "He has money so it's okay"...
  • Chief Keep sounds like he has phlegm in his throat.
  • Soulja Boi raps like Stevie from Malcolm In the Middle
  • Lil B doesn't even need me to say how garbage he is... makes me question the industry.
To exaggerate the point, listen & read Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On".

Now, listen & read Chief Keef's "Love Sosa"....

The industry nowadays have so many puppet shows such as all of Young Money & honestly, you should already grasp the context of which I've previously stated, people have gotten used to hearing ignorance. There are so many different genres, everyone in the world has at least one favorite song.

What if the industry is succeeding in stupefying the population by promoting bad music? Think about it. They promote the songs & play it on every station they own...That's the FCC aka the Federal Communications Commission for you. They are the ones that mandates everything in the media.

(Branching off subject but will return later...still coming from the same root....)

Ever wonder why no matter what city you go to, there's always a station that has the same name/logo as another station? Like The Beat? Power? KIIS FM? American media is owned by a whopping 90% for share holders covering 6 companies including Fox, ABC, CBS, Disney, NBC & CNN. No reason why we often get sick of hearing the same news about the same set of celebrities (occasionally they slip in a new celeb from a reality-tv show) repetitively over and over on magazines too. We get drowned daily on it, no wonder we know so much about other people we will most likely never meet.

Back on the FCC....

So.... who controls the FCC?. Our trusty government is controlling something that is highly influential and greatly utilized on a daily basis by the entire American population. Sheesh, no wonder so many people feel dependent on their government. Even though what they do to the majority of the population (excluding that 1%...whom makes all of America's billions by the way) is  borderline communism meets oppression & totalitarianism, these people can't survive without them. America would wreck havock like south of the border if the government were to fall. Only because the majority of the population is mentally dependent and would argue you down on why they need the government.

This next paragraph comes straight of the FCC's site:

The Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. It was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and operates as an independent U.S. government agency overseen by Congress. The commission is committed to being a responsive, efficient and effective agency capable of facing the technological and economic opportunities of the new millennium.

What kind of democracy do we live in to where Congress pulls the strings on damn near everything we do?? Why is it that I feel like I am the only one who has noticed this?....

Back to the music.

When music was about love, peace & unity, people united and became equals as the music played. Bob Marley sang about love. Never hate & never about killing his own brother either. The industry has allowed malnourished music hit the airwaves because they don't want people to gain awareness of what they are doing. The industry is composed of 10% talent and the rest marketing and sales. Isn't that evident? They then say that young girls like Rihanna are role models. How? All she does is talk about getting fucked, partying and having a lot of money. How is that a role model? Lauryn Hill now.... she's a role model. "That Thing" should still be played on the radio because more teenage girls are having children more often while TV shows like "Teen Mom" paint a picture as if its okay to have a child at 15. To all the old heads in their 50's & up already know that the generation coming up now, are stupid. These kids are 100% wrapped in the system the government has constructed I often wonder if there is going to be an end to it all.... Who knows... I'm done ranting for now... until next time..
