Saint Petersburg, Florida Will Be Over Populated

(This post is not intended to be directed towards any individual however if there are any coincidences, they are purely unintentional & I do apologize for such. Other than that, if you have been offended for any other reason, please, suck it up & leave your comments below.)

First, I was going to state this as an opinion.. but as I did more research on the funds in this city, my theory may be proven correct sooner than what I previously potulated.

The birth rate in Saint Petersburg, Florida is growing so high, there us no need to provide statistics. Look around and see how many people have children or are on the 2nd and 3rd.. Teenagers are having children nowadays.. not just one child but a few before they complete high school. And many, do not continue to college because of the hardships of being parents so young. Majority of the Black population is on some form of subsidary assistance. In south side St. Pete, there aren't many jobs left due to the fact many business have closed shop & relocated to the north side & focused their money on tourism and not the residents of the city. Many (if not all) SweetBay stores have closed and the chain has only been in the Bay area since 2006. Many people began their careers utilizing stores like these to only wind up in the unemployment line. The home of the Rays aka The Tropicana Field is also closing their doors to the resident here, to relocate for the sake of the tourists and to possibly gain more seats during the 180 game season of baseball. What is south side left with?

As subsidized housing reaches waiting lists for over a year each unit, you wonder if section 8 is still available.. wrong. Section 8 & housing are NO longer accepting applications for the wait list due to the fact, there are too many people abusing the system as well as many more people needing the system to survive. Employment in St Petersburg is not built for those of dark skin and those with no degree. Many jobs are only offering minimum wage which is only $7.79 per hour. Even after slaving for 80 hours (if you get full-time), its still not enough to pay for rent, lights, water, car insurance & gas...IF you wrk full time, your 8hr check is $623.20 before taxes. Rent 1 bedroom average is $650. How can anyone afford to live on their own with that kind of rate without houosing assistance? Forget that. Just pay more so everybody can live and be better. Crime would go down and there would be less of the extra stuff. That's not gonna happpen though. You need two jobs & a roommate to survive. The only jobs available south of Central Avenue are fast food, a couple restaurants, nursing homes & Wal-Mart. There are plenty banks, storage places, & beauty supplies but that doesn't mean you can work there unless you know someone or you have a substantial amount of experience elsewhere.. the job market here is not constructed for entry-level applicants which is sad..

Which finally brings me to the point of the topic: this city will be over populated. It took me about a month to find a school that had an opening for my daughter turning two. Every school was full & had waiting lists.. I have worked hard to have her to the point she knows two languages & is on her third.. I can't send her to just any school in the city. Plus, I want her to be active so I sought out for schools with nice play yard equipment as well. To say the least, I found a school for her finally but I still have to pay $135 a week to ensure her education before she begins free school in pre-k. Early Learning Coalition & HeadStart both have "waiting lists" for weeks and week on in... and those are the only programs that assist with paying for tuition of a toddler. Until then, I am paying out the pocket.

Now, I have one child. Imagine the stresses of those with multiple children, but continue to have children despite of the circumstances in this city.. having children seems like the new goal of many young couples in love or simple, just in "like" with the person they are currently dating. Not too many marriages happening anymore, but to be clear, I'm not saying that it makes it so much better when you are married, its just more official rather than just popping out babies just because they don't like the Plan B pill...(after 72 hours, if you so much hint that someone messed up, Planned Parenthood has them for $20. Do not abuse this though. Learn to keep your damn legs closed so you won't have tow worry about it.)

Children are indeed blessings to have but they are not blessings when people continually make them but cannot afford to take care of the without the help of the system. If you want kids, that's fine. Do you have a good job making over 30k a year after taxes with FMLA that can be paid for by donated time, a good running car & a roof over your head that is not someone else's? If you answered "no" to any of these, you should definitely abstain from children until you have all of the above. Children are blessings but people are abusing that by being sexually reckless & still not being able to take care of themselves in the process. Not to mention, the growing number of HIV/AIDs in this city.. At the rate many people are going, the city will be over populated. Schools have already been closed down, and none new have replaced them. The county is always hiring teachers but never placing them in permanent positions.. the job market is scarce but people still manage to get pregnant while working drive-thru at Taco Bell. At a certain point, you would think that the residents of the city would open their eyes and see that the politicians don't care about the people in the south.. the city is under construction for the tourists & visitors.. not the people who live here. Its a shame how terrible the bus system is here that still, 54th avenue south has no bus that runs west, towards 34th street. Instead, you have to cross the street and take the 11 bus all the way down and around, extending your trip at least an hour, just to get to the main road. They only care about making drug busts and busting a few prostitution rings as if the local doctors office & porn isn't the same thing. (I'm sorry..those don't have licenses. ok that's right. -_-sarcasm.) But the residents don't behave like they care about much else either.....

(Spinning a lil bit off subject...)

In a city, where everyone knows everyone, the main focus is, who is flashing the most. How big can your rims get? How much weave can you keep in your hair a week? Who's fvcking who this week on facebook & Etc etc... When making drops was a popular outlet to make money, no one thought to invest any of their money. Everyone was focused on getting a 2007 model & up vehicle, making local dealerships richer & richer as they ride off with payments and still painting the car up as if the have no lien on it.. the Drop Queen was stupid as fvck to flash all of her money & ball out like feds don't watch. Oh yeah, Two Chainz feat Lil Wayne : Feds Watchin... that has to be the dumbest shxt to do when you get a lot of illegal money. Here are the rules of handling illegal tender if you have found a way to get it, without getting caught:

1. If you have kids, open a college fund for them and place a substantial amount into a savings account that they cannot touch until they are 18. That way, the money still adds with interest over time.

2. Stash the rest in a safe at home without telling anyone any amount you have. (If you currently have a car, fix everything under the hood 1st, then paint it a stock color.) Make sure to purchase an extended warranty on any part purchased, or seek vehicle make warranty that covers cars after 100k miles. It covers the engine, transmission & powertrain*.
*most plans.. find out for yourself the details..

3. (This shoulda been number 1 but still..)Don't get flashy!! Flashy individuals ALWAYS let me repeat ALWAYS get caught. None have gotten off or gotten away with it so please.. play it smart.

4. Get money orders for your rent in advance and pay your rent on time, each month while allowing the money you earn from work to just build up in the bank because you have paid everything. That way, you will have you own earned income if anything were to ever go wrong.(allow 1 person you trust with your life to be joint holder of your account so that when day of, if anything goes wrong, they can withdraw all of it & bail you out).

Simple set of rules to go under the radar when you wind up with a lump sum of money. Lottery or drop wise.. stay low key. If you must, open a laundry mat, car wash or a school for children ages 1-4 & pay the teachers in advance. Pay for advertisement for federal grants & local business can help too. I'm just saying, there are better ways to spend large amounts of money. Drop Queen is about to do life & no one has a dime to show for what she could have done for her city rather then splurge on attention. All money ain't good money... & all attention isn't all good attention.......

Stay strapped or stay celibate. These politics & businesses are leaving this city high and dry. What are you going to do when WIC, AFDC & food stamps stop giving free food for newborns & toddlers...they provide the food for the first year of life. Imagine when they stop funding it & you have no job.. but your pregnant. As a woman, that decision is left up to you but the best choice is to do what I already stated. Stay strapped or stay celibate. If you must have sex, make sure he has on a condom that fits, place a vaginal contraceptive film in your vagina for extra protection, and keep her lubricated to prevent the friction from busting a dry condom. The VCF is back-up protection in case the condom does bust but STILL make him PULL OUT. No feeling in this world feels as good as sex but there's no feeling in this world like being pregnant by mistake. Pick one.

Don't have kids if you can't afford to take care of them without the system. Point blank.
